Tucson part II

I think Tucson considers itself more of a "creative" community than some other cities. Pictured above is the 4th Ave. Street Fair that happens twice a year. This event brings vendors from all over the Southwest selling their handmade goods, foods and other junk.  Also along 4th Ave, you can find one of a kind stores and galleries focusing on local craftsmen and artists!  Tucson also offers your standard shopping malls, chain stores and some higher end stores at La Encantada outdoor shopping center.

One of Tucson's more famous galleries would have to be DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun. One of the areas most beloved painters,Ted DeGrazia, opened the studio in 1944. The gallery is a place full or art and history - it's an art gallery and museum all in one. What a wonderful way to spend the day in Tucson!

I will wrap up my City Views - Tucson tomorrow!
